Why Ademola Lookman was nominated:Ballon d'Or organizers

 

France Football,the organizers of the prestigious Ballon d'Or,on Monday shared a new video, highlighting why Atlanta's Ademola Lookman was nominated for this year's award.

The video,which was released via their official X account,showcased Lookman's vital role in helping Nigeria's Super Eagles reach the finals of the African Cup Of Nation(AFCON),where the 26 year old,scored three goals and registered one assist during the tournament.

It also showcased his role in Atlanta's historic Europa League triumph,where he scored a hat trick as they defeated Bayern Leverkusen 3-0 in the finals.

Lookman contributed 33 goals involvement(22 goals and 11 assists) in 61 appearances both Nigeria and Atlanta during the period under review for the 2024 Ballon d'Or.
