West ham make £57m bid for Aston villa striker Duran

 West Ham United has submitted a club-record bid of £57 million for Aston Villa striker Jhon Duran. Despite this substantial offer, Aston Villa has rejected the bid, maintaining their stance that Duran is not for sale. The 21-year-old Colombian forward, who recently extended his contract with Villa until 2030, has been in impressive form, scoring 12 goals across all competitions this season. 

West Ham's interest in Duran stems from their current need for attacking reinforcements, as injuries have sidelined key forwards Niclas Fullkrug and Michail Antonio. However, Villa's firm position indicates their desire to retain Duran, who has become an integral part of their squad.
