Arsenal close to signing Benjamin Sesko

Multiple reports suggest that Arsenal is indeed close to signing Benjamin Sesko, with several sources stating that an agreement on personal terms has been reached between the player and the club.

However, there seems to be a stumbling block regarding the transfer fee with RB Leipzig. While Arsenal has reportedly agreed on personal terms, Sky Germany and other outlets indicate that no agreement has been reached between the two clubs for the transfer fee. RB Leipzig is reportedly demanding a fee in the range of £68.4 million to £85.5 million (€80-100 million).

There were also claims that Sesko's agent was trying to pressure Leipzig to lower their asking price, but the agent, Elvis Basanovic, has strongly refuted these claims, stating that they respect RB Leipzig and will not force or blackmail them. He emphasized that a transfer would only happen if they "recognize a special club, a special project with a special coach."

In summary, while personal terms seem to be agreed upon, the final transfer fee between Arsenal and RB Leipzig is still under negotiation. Arsenal remains keen on securing the Slovenian striker, who scored 21 goals in 45 appearances for Leipzig last season.
