Chelsea confirmes the signing of another star player

 

Chelsea has officially confirmed the signing of Mamadou Sarr from Strasbourg.

The transfer was announced on Monday, June 9, 2025, and he has signed an eight-year contract with the club, keeping him at Stamford Bridge until 2033. Sarr, a 19-year-old French centre-back, had a breakthrough season with Strasbourg, making 28 appearances and helping them qualify for the UEFA Conference League.

He is expected to be part of Chelsea's first-team squad and could make his debut in the Club World Cup, which is scheduled to begin later this month.
