Chelsea confirmes the exit of two star players

Jadon Sancho

It has been widely confirmed that Jadon Sancho has returned to Manchester United. He spent the 2024/2025 season on loan at Chelsea, and while there was an obligation for Chelsea to make the move permanent for £25 million, negotiations over personal terms (specifically his high wages) fell through. As a result, Chelsea opted to pay a £5 million penalty fee to Manchester United to release themselves from the obligation, and Sancho has confirmed his exit from Chelsea on social media.

Joao Félix

Joao Félix's situation is a bit more complex. He initially joined Chelsea on a six-month loan in January 2023. Then, in the summer of 2024, Chelsea signed Joao Félix permanently for £45 million. However, he struggled to make an impact under Enzo Maresca and was then loaned out to AC Milan for the second half of the 2024/2025 season. AC Milan has confirmed they will not be signing him permanently.

Therefore, while Sancho has definitively left Chelsea, Joao Félix is still technically a Chelsea player, but he is expected to depart this summer. Chelsea is actively looking for a new club for him, with his former club Benfica reportedly interested. He was also omitted from Chelsea's Club World Cup squad, indicating he is not in Enzo Maresca's plans.

In addition, Chelsea is the only premier league club standing in the ongoing FIFA Club World Cup.

In the other hand,James Gittens move to Chelsea has been confirmed he is currently undergoing medical checkup.
