Chelsea hope rises as PSG star players faces suspension
Chelsea's hopes for the upcoming FIFA Club World Cup final against Paris Saint-Germain have been boosted by the suspensions of two key PSG defenders: Willian Pacho and Lucas Hernandez.
Both players received straight red cards in PSG's quarter-final victory over Bayern Munich and were subsequently handed two-match suspensions by FIFA, ruling them out of both the semi-final and the final. This means they will not be available to face Chelsea in the Club World Cup final.
While PSG managed to overcome Real Madrid in the semi-final without them, their absence is still considered a significant blow to the French champions' defense. Chelsea, on the other hand, will have their previously suspended players (like Liam Delap) back, and yellow cards were reset after the semi-final stage.
