Saudi Arabia Club close at signing Chelsea's Key Player

Recent reports indicate that Saudi Arabian club Al-Nassr is showing keen interest in signing Chelsea left-back Marc Cucurella. It's even been reported that Cristiano Ronaldo, Al-Nassr's star player, has personally requested the club to pursue Cucurella.

However, Chelsea's stance is that they have no intention of selling Cucurella this summer. He has become a key player for them under new head coach Enzo Maresca, featuring significantly in their successful 2024/25 campaign where they won the Conference League and Club World Cup. He is also under contract until 2028, putting Chelsea in a strong position.

While Al-Nassr is reportedly preparing a substantial offer for Cucurella, and has recently secured Joao Felix from Chelsea, it seems unlikely that Chelsea will sanction a sale, especially given Cucurella's improved form and importance to the squad.
