Nigeria came closest when Paul Onuachu seemed to score, only for the goal to be disallowed by VAR due to a foul in the buildup.

Nigeria’s Ademola Lookman came on as a substitute and appeared to score early in the second half — but once again the goal was ruled out for offside.
