Super Eagles head coach Eric Chelle has reportedly emerged as one of the candidates to take over as manager of French Ligue 1 giants Olympique Marseille.

⚽ What Happened?

Marseille are searching for a new coach after Roberto De Zerbi left the club by mutual agreement. 

Chelle is among the names shortlisted to replace him. 

Former Marseille captain Habib Beye is also strongly linked and considered a leading contender.

He boosted his reputation after leading Nigeria to 3rd place at AFCON 2025. 

His tactical ability and experience in French football make him attractive to Marseille.
